Composition: 87% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Semillon
The Arietta white wine labeled as “On The White Keys” is a unique blend of hillside Sauvignon Blanc and old vine Semillon. The process of fermenting and aging the wine involves a nine-month duration utilizing both new and second-use oak and stainless steel barrels. The label design incorporates the manuscript of the Arietta movement from Beethoven’s last piano sonata, Opus 111, while the name “On The White Keys” is derived from the melody of the Arietta theme, which is played exclusively on the piano’s white keys. The wine exhibits tropical and citrus tones, along with pit fruits, white flowers, and a full spectrum of fruit flavors that are all truly delightful. The Semillon grape contributes to broadening the wine and introducing a honey component, while still allowing the Sauvignon Blanc’s brightness to dominate.
