Composition: 100% Monastrell.
This wine is a perfect representation of the Monastrell grape variety, sourced from the ancient vineyards of El Sequé. It boasts strong balsamic flavors and mature fruit notes, making it a rich and satisfying wine. The grapes are grown exclusively on the estate and the wine has a distinct Mediterranean influence, with warm and mellow hints of black fruit and gentle aromas of aromatic plants and balsamic. This has an authentic Mediterranean character that is sure to please.
Artadi is a winery located in the Laguardia village that was established in 1985 by a team of winemakers led by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle. They have always been dedicated to producing single-vineyard Tempranillo wines that reflect the characteristics of their terroir. In 2016, Artadi made a bold decision to break away from the official Rioja classification system and instead focus on creating wines in the Burgundian style. By prioritizing their unique single-vineyard expressions, Artadi has become incredibly successful and is now widely considered to be one of the top wine producers in Spain.
