Return & Exchange Policies
Return & Exchange procedure:
At The Vine Post, we believe in 100% customer satisfaction. If you suspect a bottle is bad, please do not drink the wine. For one, we care about your safety, and two we need the bad wine and cork for quality control purposes. Please recork the bad bottle with the remaining wine you received, repack in the original box or package it came in.
Terms & Conditions
You must be 21 years of age or older, in order to receive alcoholic beverages from The Vine Post. By placing your order online, you are representing to us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person who will be receiving the wine is at least 21 years of age. The person(s) receiving the delivery will be required to show identification in order to prove that he or she is at least 21 years old. The receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). All wines purchased from The Vine Post are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only. Shipping Policy Standard deliveries in the Continental US are shipped via Ground Service. When filling out the shipping information, please provide a physical address as shipments of alcohol may not be delivered to a P.O. Box. Standard delivery time is three to five business days. Air freight or delays may be required in extreme weather. We will contact you in this event.
When using UPS 2nd Day Air or other expedited delivery service, all orders received after 3:00 pm will leave our retail location the following business day. Three delivery attempts will be made before the package is returned to us. Once the items have been returned, we must charge a $10 rerouting fee on all packages reshipped. To avoid this inconvenience, we recommend delivery to a commercially zoned business address. Please verify delivery addresses carefully. Any errors or changes in delivery instructions may incur additional charges.
Wine Shipping Restrictions
We are legally allowed to ship wine only to those states with laws that explicitly permit the shipment of wine directly to consumers. Each state’s laws regulate the number of cases of wine that can be shipped to a single personon an annual basis. If your order exceeds the allowable quantity in your state, then we will contact you by phone or email. The laws regarding the shipment of wine are constantly changing. We will expand our service area as soon as the law permits! Return & Exchange Policies Return & Exchange procedure: At The Vine Post, we believe in 100% customer satisfaction. Please recork the bad bottle with the remaining wine you received, repack in the original box that it was received in, and contact us at email@example.com. Contact us via email or phone as soon as possible either to arrange a pick-up/return of the wine for inspection. As soon as we receive that bottle and inspect it, if it is found to be bad, we will send you a replacement of the same wine if it is still available or we will issue you a refund for the cost of that bottle with any shipping charges. If you have an incorrect order, please contact us within 30 days of the purchase to arrange the return and replacement. ALL WINE SALES ARE FINAL AFTER 30 DAYS. Returns or exchanges must be within 30 days of purchase,and have the original receipt present. Products may be subject to inspection upon returning or exchanging. Any wine brought back that is NOT at proper serving temperature cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returns for reasons other than bad wine or wrong / damaged order: please note any shipping charges will not be refunded and there will be a 20% restocking fee for in stock items, and 30% restocking fee for special order items.
Packages must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept COD deliveries. Once we receive your returned item(s), we shall credit your original payment for the purchase price and your replacement will be shipped. If we need to replace a wine due to damage in transit, please allow 1-2 weeks following the receipt of your customer service request in order for your replacement to arrive. If you are receiving a credit, the credit card used for the original purchase will be credited. Please allow one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement.
Tax charges are based on state and local tax laws and tax rates for the delivery address of your order. Where required, tax will also be applied to the shipping and handling charges. If you are returning an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for any taxes paid for that item. You will not receive a refund for the taxes paid on shipping and handling, as shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable once an item has been shipped.
